Samsung Galaxy Y is the latest Android Gingerbread OS smartphone which is packed with exciting features and provides full smartphone experience but with a low budget in mind. Samsung Galaxy Y is a simple and compact smartphone which measures 102.9 x 57.9 x 12.2 mm and weighs almost 96.8 grams and by this it is very easy to handle. The body of Samsung Galaxy Y is all plastic but the plastic is of good quality. Samsung Galaxy Y has a 3-inch TFT touchscreen QVGA resolution. The capacitive touchscreen is responsive and supports multi-touch. One thing which concerned me was the low image quality. Low resolution is also a factor but it also has poor viewing angles, low brightness and contrast.
Samsung Galaxy Y is equipped with a 2 megapixel camera but we didn’t find a single scratch or fingerprint protection for the camera lens which is quite a disappointment.
